Average Speed Cameras – B1122 and B1125

Sizewell C has now installed average speed cameras along the B1122 and B1125 to further enhance road safety in the new 30mph speed limit.

Further speed restrictions along the A12 are being implemented, including south of Yoxford. This is to ensure road safety as HGVs and construction vehicles manoeuvre on the sites as construction works begin.  Further speed restrictions will be implemented in due course on the A12 at Darsham and the Friday Street turning.

The speed limits are in place to ensure the safety of all road users as there will be an increase of construction traffic and HGV movements between the Yoxford Roundabout, Sizewell Link Road, Northern Park and Ride and Friday Street roundabout.

Data from the cameras will be collected, monitored and enforced by the police.
