Leiston-cum-Sizewell
From 31 October a reduction in the speed limit on Lover’s Lane from national speed limit (60mph) to 30mph will be implemented.
This will be introduced along Lovers Lane between the B1122 and the Recycling Centre.
Initially the limits will be promulgated on A-frame signs and then replaced by standard road furniture. Although in A-frame form, the new speed limit will be enforceable from 31 October.
The speed limit forms part of the Development Consent Order for Sizewell C and will be permanent and enforceable 30mph speed limit for the early construction phase of Sizewell C to improve the safe flow of traffic along this section of Lover’s Lane.
