Suffolk County Council Highways – A12 Works

Suffolk County Council Highways has advised that the A12 in the Yoxford area will be closed at night-time from 19 – 21 August and 24 -26 between the hours of 20:00 – 05:00 to allow emergency repairs to be carried out to the carriageways.

The closure is required so that essential repair work can be completed safely and as quickly as possible. These works are being undertaken by Suffolk County Council Highways and are not part of Sizewell C works.

As a result of this emergency closure, our planned closures in Darsham have been cancelled. This is to help reduce the level of disruption on the local road network while the A12 works are taking place.

During this period, road users should expect disruption and allow extra time for their journeys. Please follow the signed diversion route and take care when travelling through the local area.
