Leiston Level Crossing Utility Works

Leiston level crossing is currently closed to road traffic, although pedestrian access remains available. The crossing is scheduled to reopen to vehicles on Monday morning.

As part of the works required to reinstate the road, the railway track across the crossing needs to be re-laid. To allow this work to take place safely, the pedestrian footpath will be closed between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Friday 18 September.

To minimise inconvenience, a minibus shuttle service will be available during this period to transport pedestrians safely across the closure area.
