Ashbocking, Charsfield, Clopton, Coddenham, Hemingstone, Otley, Wickham Market
The B1078 will be closed in two locations on the night of Friday 8th May:
Phase 1 – B1078 (Charsfield Road) from its junction with Otley Road for approximately 2km to its junction with Drabbs Lane.
Phase 2 – B1078 (Ashbocking Road) from its junction with Rectory Road for approximately 1.8km to its junction with Church Road, to facilitate white lining and asphalt works.
The closure of Ashbocking Road (Phase 2) will only take place once the closure of Charsfield Road (Phase 1) has finished.
The diversion route for B1078 Ashbocking will be A140, A1120, B1077, and vice versa.
The diversion route for B1078 Charsfield Road will be B1079, Grundisburgh Road, A12, B1438, B1078 and vice versa.
During these closures, there will be a diversion in place and access to property will be maintained.
SZC have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible, but we are aware that there may be some disruption and inconvenience for you. We are sorry that this may affect your journey times and will be working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
