Middleton cum Fordley, Theberton and Eastbridge, Yoxford
As part of the community road improvements scheme, in which we have closely consulted with your local parish council, I am writing to you to inform you of the need for temporary closures of the B1122 from the A12 roundabout junction to approximately 90m southeast of its junction with Title Road, Middleton. To minimise the number of road closures in the area, Essex and Suffolk Water works are taking place under the same closure alongside a closure of Title Road (from its junction with the B1122 for approximately 500m). This is to divert utilities in relation to the Sizewell Link Road.
The B1122 will be closed on Monday to Thursday nights from 7pm to 5am between 21 September and 6 November. The works are in a few locations along the road, and we will minimise the extent of the closure whenever possible.

SZC have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible, but we are aware that there may be some disruption and inconvenience for you. We are sorry that this may affect your journey times and will be working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
