Leiston-cum-Sizewell
Archaeology works for the College on the Coast site are due to begin on Monday 10 August.
These works are an important early step in preparing the site and will help ensure that any heritage or archaeological features are properly identified and recorded before construction begins.
Construction of the College on the Coast is currently expected to begin at the end of September.
The College on the Coast will provide a new post-16 education facility for Leiston, supporting technical, vocational and academic pathways linked to Sizewell C and the wider energy, infrastructure and engineering sectors.
We will continue to keep the community updated as the programme progresses and will share further information about the construction works, including any expected impacts and timings, closer to the start date.
