Leiston-cum-Sizewell
CCTV drainage surveys will be taking place in Leiston on Valley Road (4-6 October) and King George’s Avenue (7 October).
The team from our contractor will lift manhole covers to measure the depth to the outgoing pipe and also pipe sizes. Drainage routes will then be surveyed with camera equipment to record the pipe conditions. All manholes will be lifted using either manhole keys or a hydraulic lifter, and will be protected using either barriers or road cones.
The surveys will require the closure of part of Valley Road, to the east of Valley Terrace, with diversion signage in place. Traffic management will be required on King George’s Avenue in the vicinity of the Sports and Social Club, but the road will remain open.
The works will take place between 8am and 6pm.
