Marlesford
Following our earlier communications this year, the dates of the road closures required to complete the Marlesford Improvement Scheme have been confirmed: The scheme includes the installation of a new signalised pedestrian crossing, the construction of new footpaths, new signage, and carriageway resurfacing throughout the village.
The A12 through Marlesford will be closed overnight, from 20:00 to 05:00, starting at 20:00 on Sunday 21 September and continuing until 05:00 on Sunday 4 October. The intention is to carry out these closures on weeknights only; however, weekend nighttime closures may be required if necessary to complete the works safely and on schedule. Updates will be provided here on the works tracker and via electronic signs in place on the A12.
