Sizewell C will begin preparation works to enable the archaeology works to commence at the Willow Marsh Lane in preparation for the construction the Northern Park & Ride facility.
In order to create a safe working environment at the location, we will create a bell-mouth entrance and a welfare compound for our workers to conduct archaeological works. The compound will consist of car parking, modular buildings and safe walk ways.
There will be traffic management in place whilst the creation of the bell-mouth entrance is created.
These works are due to commence on 9 September 2024 and will take approximately 3 weeks.
Archaeology works will then commence the week of 30 September 2024.
