These otter monitoring surveys are undertaken to inform our understanding of the use of each otter holt that has been identified at the site, and to see whether any natal holts – where a female otter would raise her young – are present. The surveys will help us to minimise any disturbance to otters using these holts when Sizewell C progresses to construction.
