Fen meadow habitat creation

The creation of the Fen Meadow habitat has the potential to impact upon the foraging habitat and burrows of local water voles.

Before undertaking the works necessary to create the habitat, Sizewell C will require a licence from Natural England to address any threats to these water voles by ensuring that they are safely displaced from the works area. The habitat areas will be reinstated once construction works are complete.
