Darsham, Yoxford
Sizewell C will begin preparation works to enable the archaeology works to commence in the vicinity of Middleton Road in preparation for the construction the roundabout.
In order to create a safe working environment at the location, we will create a bell-mouth entrance and a welfare compound for our workers to conduct archaeological works. The compound will consist of car parking, modular buildings and safe walk ways.
These works are due to commence on 10 September 2024 and will take approximately 2 weeks.
Archaeology works will commence the week of 9 October 2024.
Vegetation clearance at the site will take place from Friday 25 October- Saturday 26 October and temporary traffic lights may be used periodically during this period, but will be removed when not in use.
