Buckleswood Road will be temporarily closed for a distance of approximately 370m, from approximately 430m south of the junction with Abbey Lane – to approximately 200m west of the road’s transition to Westward Ho.

This closure is essential to facilitate works associated with the construction of the Buckleswood Road level crossing for the Green Rail Route to Sizewell C.

There will be a diversion in place and access to your property will be maintained during the temporary closure. The details of the temporary road closure are as follows:

Diversion:      The diversion route is Buckleswood Lane, B1119 Waterloo Avenue, B1122 Station Road.

Sizewell C have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible, but we are aware that this work may cause inconvenience for you. We are sorry that this may affect your journey times and will be working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.

We would like to reassure you that our team will monitor the progress of the works and will endeavour to minimise the impact to you as far as practicable, depending on their progress.
