Leiston-cum-Sizewell
Buckleswood Lane will be temporarily closed for a distance of approximately 60m to facilitate Essex and Suffolk Water works associated with the construction of the Buckleswood Lane level crossing for the Green Rail Route..
The details of the temporary road closure are as follows:
Between 26 May and 6 June, works will take place in the following order:
- 3-day full closure 26 May to 28 May
- 2-day full closure 2 June to 3 June
- Closure for 2 nights (8pm-5am) 3 June to 5 June
Diversion: Buckleswood Lane, Saxmundham Road, Harrow Lane
Access to properties will be maintained during the temporary closure. Either side of the closure, Saxmundham Road and Buckleswood Lane will be signed as access only.
Sizewell C have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible, but we are aware that there may be some disruption and inconvenience for you. We are sorry that this may affect your journey times and will be working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
