Knodishall, Leiston-cum-Sizewell
Knodishall level crossing, and a section of The Green in the vicinity of the level crossing, will be closed to undertake track upgrades, and temporary resurfacing/reinstatement of the road surface, as well as other associated works.
There will be a diversion in place and access to your property will be maintained during the temporary closure. The details of the temporary road closure are as follows:
Date: 5 August to 5 September 2026
Diversion: Theberton Road, Saxmundham Road, Buckleswood Lane at Saxmundham level crossing, B1119 Saxmundham Road and The Green
Further closures at this location are likely to be required and we will provide updates as soon as any closures are confirmed.
