Green Rail Route

Railway works will be taking place in the area of Hodgson Avenue:

These works are essential to the upgrade of the railway to provide deliveries for the building of Sizewell C.

The works are planned during daytime hours and are as follows:

19 – 30 October: The team will be working to install routes for cables next to the tracks close to the Hodgsons Crossing area of the railway.

2 – 6 November: The team will be installing undertrack equipment close to the Hodgsons Crossing area of the railway.

9 -13 November: The team will be installing under track equipment, and moving the crossing area away from Hodgson Avenue to a new location approximately 100m towards Saxmundham.

SZC have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible. However, due to the nature of the works some noise will be generated and we apologise for any disturbance and inconvenience that these works cause you.
