Blythburgh, Leiston-cum-Sizewell, Middleton cum Fordley, Theberton and Eastbridge
The southern end of the B1125 Leiston Road will be subject to a temporary five-day closure to enable vegetation clearance and tree felling to take place as part of our works to deliver the Sizewell Link Road. The closure will be daytime only between the hours of 0900 and 1600.
We have consulted with Suffolk County Council to agree the proposed traffic management measures and have sought to keep roads open as much as possible to minimise disruption to the community. We would like to reassure you that the works have been co-ordinated with the wider traffic management planned in the area for the project.
There will be diversion routes in place and access to property will be maintained during these temporary closures. The details of the temporary road closure are as follows:

Diversion: B1125, B1387, A12 and B1122
Sizewell C have planned these works to mitigate disruption as far as possible, but we are aware that these works may cause some inconvenience. We are sorry that this may affect your journey times and will be working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
