Farnham with Stratford St Andrew
As you may be aware, Galliford Try is our principal contractor for the construction of the Two Village Bypass. They have begun works to establish their compound within our site near Tinker Brook Lane.
The project has now reached the stage of installing a temporary access road through the Two Village Bypass scheme, which will connect and cross Farnham Hall Road.
During the construction of this temporary access road, it will be necessary to protect existing utilities—specifically the underground BT Openreach fibre cables and the private water main feed located parallel to Farnham Hall Road along the verges. Protective measures will be implemented to safeguard these utilities.
These works will take place on Thursday 4 December between the hours of 09:00 -15:00.
To ensure the safety of all, short-term traffic management measures may be deployed. These will be in place for a maximum of 15 minutes at any one time. Outside these periods, Galliford Try will ensure access is maintained for both pedestrians and vehicles.
Sizewell C have planned these works to avoid disruption as much as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We are working hard to ensure the work happens as swiftly and efficiently as possible.
