Leiston-cum-Sizewell, Saxmundham, Theberton and Eastbridge
Works are currently taking place to lay the ballast bed and install the new track from the spur at Buckleswood Road through to Abbey Road.
To enable these works there will be a variety of plant machinery and equipment used, including an engineering train know as the NTC which will be used to lay the track.
Once completed further works to install the signalling and power will be carried out in the new year.
