Leiston-cum-Sizewell, Saxmundham, Theberton and Eastbridge
Works are currently taking place to renew the railway track along the branch line including installing new, ballast, sleepers, railway line and switches and crossings.
You may notice various engineering trains operating to support these works including the tamper train and track laying train.
Later this year works will begin on installing the new signalling equipment as well as several level crossing upgrades. Further information will be announced nearer the time of the works.
