Willow Marsh Lane will be closed until January 2027.
We have liaised with Suffolk County Council to agree the most appropriate traffic management measures. We have sought to keep roads open as much as practicable to minimise the potential disruption to the community, but this has not always been possible and some road closures are required for safety reasons.
The emergency services have been consulted on these road closures and have not raised any concerns.
We have commenced construction of the the roundabout which will bring traffic from the A12 to our Northern Park & Ride site. This requires the closure of Willow Marsh Lane. The road will be closed throughout the construction period and a diversion will be in place. Please note there is currently no access for cyclists or pedestrians and this road remains completely closed.
Please note that the dates indicated are targets and we will always use best endeavours to complete works and reopen roads earlier wherever possible, however, timescales may be impacted by factors such as bad weather or engineering difficulties.
