Leiston-cum-Sizewell, Theberton and Eastbridge
Abbey Road, between Leiston Abbey access and Rowley Mews will be closed from 9am-12pm midday on Friday 24 April. This is to facilitate an engineering train to lay the track on both sides of the level crossing.
The road will then be open until 8pm Friday 24 April, when the road will be closed for the weekend as per previous communications.
A diversion will be in place via the B1122, A12, A1094, and B1069.
During these closures, access to property will be maintained.
We have planned these activities to minimise disruption and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will continue to work efficiently to complete the works as quickly as possible.
