Leiston-cum-Sizewell, Theberton and Eastbridge
The B1122 Leiston (Abbey Road), Lover’s Lane, and Eastbridge Road will be closed at nighttime to facilitate utility works and the construction of a new roundabout.
Weeknight closures (8pm–5am):
- Monday 30 March to Thursday 2 April (ending 5am Friday 3 April)
- Tuesday 7 April to Thursday 9 April (ending 5am Friday 10 April)
During these periods, Abbey Road between Leiston Abbey access and Rowley Mews, along with the western end of Lover’s Lane, will be closed.

Diversion routes
- Abbey Road: B1122, A12, A1094 and B1069
- Lover’s Lane: King George’s Avenue and B1122 Abbey Road
- Eastbridge Road: Church Lane and Onners Lane (advisory one-way system in place to support traffic flow between Eastbridge and Theberton)
Access to properties will be maintained throughout the works.
